The Board met last week; Topic - Sponsorship in exchange for Volunteer. So, if a family or an individual brings in a minimum of $250.00 or more (more is ALWAYS welcomed) your voluteer (4/individual 8/family) hours are waived. It can be one sponsor for $250.00 or 10 for $25.00 each! Besides, we know our members will help us out, which will make for a speedy and fun day for everyone!
Hi Everyone! It is getting so close to the start of the season! Wow!!! It is just around the corner and there is still so much to do! Copies are being made, the site updated, insurance and website paid! Just so much to get done!!! But the most exciting part is we will be the “coolest” club in town!!! Literally!
We have a new arena location and it is enclosed!!!! We are so excited, honored and very, very privileged to have access to this great arena! We will now be located at the Rockin’ LJ Arena in WashoeValley! Just between Reno and Carson! Please visit the Rockin' LJ Arena tab to familiarize you with some of what will be expected of you while a guest at this arena. WNHA and Rockin’ LJ Arena Rules will be enforced. Please come prepared and ready to saddle up and have a ropin’ good time!!!!We have made so many changes to the class list, rules and entry forms.
Please visit the WNHA Rule Book Page and the Documents Library where you will find the class list, entry forms, etc. At the WNHA Library, you will find the Awards Program and requirements as well… Remember; there are no dogs as a participant of the WNHA while at this arena. Please leave them at home where they are so much more comfortable. The parking is in the front and the arena is in the back and we don’t want them to be hot, out of water or have the opportunity to scare a horse, so, leave them at home.
Oh, we are also eventing on ONE DAY; so make note. The class list is the order in which we will run the day; Western Classes are not to start before noon and Gymkhana is not to start before 3:00; Trail will follow after we feed our judge; so there will be a short 20 minute lunch break. We do ask that you help us run a smooth first time in April; please have your entries sent in, forms and check signed, and be ready for your class. There is no PA system at the outside arena; and because we are at a private facility, the PA will be heard only in the main arena and a small distance from the immediate surrounding area of the main arena. Our event must be done by 8:30 PM, so give us a helping hand in all aspects, and we thank you in advance! Don't forget to go to the WNHA Membership Tab, download the application, fill it out, and mail it in! Don’t forget to get yourself branded with your club! We have Vests for $45.00 and Sweatshirts for $30.00. This is a great way for you to get branded, telling your community that you are part of an exciting club! Beside, the proceeds will be going to the 2010 Awards! So, get them while they last at our WNHA Store!
